Sifu Rama
In 1976, at the age of 18, Sifu Rama met Grandmaster Jean Klein, one of the greatest contemporary Advaita masters in the Indian tradition of Ramana Maharishi. With Grandmaster Jean Klein he discovered Meditation and learned the yoga of the Energetic Body in the Kashmiri tradition.

In 1996 he quit his business and spent 5 years in Asia, especially in India between the sacred mountain of Arunachala and Lucknow where he stayed with Grandmaster Papaji (Poonjaji Maharaj), disciple of Ramana Maharishi and also one of the greatest contemporary Advaita masters.

In 1997 Sifu Rama received an initiation into the art of Chi Kung and in 1999 he met Grandmaster Wong Kiew Kit in Malaysia. This was the start of his intensive training in Shaolin Chi Kung with Grandmaster Wong. In 2000 he organized and translated Sifu Wong’s first courses in Italy as well as being initiated in Wahnam Taijiquan.
The following year he brought Shaolin Chi Kung and Wahnam Tai Chi Chuan to South America with Sifu Wong who asked him to start teaching for the Shaolin Wahnam Institute and, as inner chamber disciple, gave him his blessings to start in Costa Rica the first Shaolin Wahnam Center in the world, La Montaña Azul.

Sifu Rama is resident master of the Shaolin Wahnam Institute in Costa Rica and Chief Instructor for Latin America with more than 2000 students who benefit from the practice of Shaolin Wahnam Chi Kung and Wahnam Taijiquan.
